Cable Termination and Wiring Notes
This is an IDC (insulation displacement) termination — the ribbon cable is pressed onto the fork contacts, displacing the insulation to make gas-tight connection. No stripping, no crimping; termination is done with a hand press or arbor press. The 0.100" pitch cable is standard; a 0.050" pitch cable will not align with the contact tines. The feed-through feature lets you pass the cable through the housing and terminate a second receptacle downstream, keeping a single harness run clean.
