PIDG ring terminal, #8 stud, 14-16 AWG
The 2-320560-1 is a PIDG-series insulated ring terminal from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, accepting 14-16 AWG wire onto a #8 stud size. The tin-plated copper contact is 0.031" (0.79mm) thick and terminates via crimp; the blue nylon insulation is rated for free-hanging inline mounting.
Serrated termination and insulation grip
Serrated termination inside the crimp barrel bites into the conductor strands for mechanical retention and electrical contact — a standard feature on PIDG terminals that reduces pull-out risk in high-vibration harnesses. The insulation sleeve accepts wire insulation diameters from 0.105" to 0.150" (2.67mm to 3.81mm), covering the full 14-16 AWG range without needing a separate insulation support.
