Terminal identity and wire fit
The 2-32446-1 is a PIDG-series knife terminal accepting 16-22 AWG wire with a red nylon insulation barrel that covers the crimp joint and a portion of the conductor entry. The tin-plated copper contact body measures 0.878" (22.30 mm) overall; the insulation barrel accepts wire insulation diameters from 0.105" to 0.140" (2.67 mm to 3.56 mm).
Sibling terminals at the same wire range
The 2-32446-1 (Tape & Reel) and the 32446 (Bulk) share identical dimensions, wire gauge range, insulation diameter, and contact finish — the packaging is the only difference. The 320555 accepts the same 16-22 AWG wire but with a narrower insulation diameter range of 0.080" to 0.125" (2.03 mm to 3.18 mm) — choose 2-32446-1 when the cable jacket is thicker than 0.125".
