Spade terminal for #8 stud, 16-22 AWG
The 2-32562-2 is the #8-stud member of TE's PIDG flanged spade terminal line, accepting 16-22 AWG wire with a serrated crimp barrel that grips the conductor strands before the insulation support closes. Tin-plated copper contact, insulated with a red polyamide (nylon) sleeve rated for free-hanging inline termination.
Stud size variation across the PIDG line
The 2-32562-2 uses a #8 stud (0.171" tongue opening) while the 2-32562-1 and 2-32561-1 use a #6 stud (0.145" opening) — the wire gauge, insulation diameter range, and overall length are shared across the three, so the stud size is the sole fit decision.
