The 2-328976-2 is a PIDG-series ring terminal from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, sized for 14 AWG wire and a 1/2 stud. The tin-plated copper contact is 0.031" (0.79mm) thick, insulated with blue/green-stripe nylon, and terminated by crimp for free-hanging (in-line) mounting.
Wire range and insulation grip
The insulation restriction and serrated termination grip the wire jacket between 0.078" and 0.130" (1.98mm to 3.30mm) diameter — the serrations dig into the conductor strands for mechanical retention before the crimp barrel is fully closed.
