Ring terminal for #6 studs, 16-22 AWG
The 2-34107-2 is the #6-stud member of TE's Solistrand ring terminal line, accepting 16-22 AWG wire with a circular, non-insulated copper barrel. The brazed seam and serrated termination grip the conductor under the crimp; the 0.031" (0.79mm) thickness suits barrier-strip screws where a ring lug under a screw is the standard.
Solistrand series: stud-size selection
Within the Solistrand non-insulated ring family, the 2-34107-2's #6 stud sits between the #8 stud of the 1377172-7 and the 1/4" stud of the 1377172-9 — the 0.031" (0.79mm) thickness, brazed seam, and serrated termination are shared across the series, so match the stud size to the barrier strip or bus bar hole. The 133521-1 (also #8 stud) uses gold-plated contacts and accepts 18-22 AWG; the 2-34107-2 uses tin-plated copper and accepts 16-22 AWG, making it the choice for standard-duty power terminations where gold plating is not required.
