Plasti-Grip ring terminal, 16-22 AWG, #5/16 stud
The 2-34151-1 is a #5/16 stud-size circular ring terminal in TE's Plasti-Grip series, accepting 16-22 AWG wire with a tin-plated copper contact and insulated PVC barrel. The serrated termination on the inner barrel bites through oxide for a consistent crimp; overall length is 1.090" (27.69 mm) with outer edge width of 0.469" (11.91 mm).
Insulation and wire range
The PVC insulation sleeve accepts wire insulation diameters from 0.105" to 0.140" (2.67 mm to 3.56 mm) and is colour-coded red per the Plasti-Grip standard for 16-22 AWG. Contact thickness is 0.031" (0.79 mm); the terminal is rated for free-hanging in-line mounting with a crimp termination.
