PIDG ring terminal, 18 AWG, #6 stud
The 2-36149-5 is an 18 AWG, #6 stud PIDG ring terminal from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors. It uses a tin-plated copper contact crimped to the wire, with a polyamide (nylon) insulation sleeve that covers the barrel and part of the conductor entry. The terminal is rated for 18 AWG wire and accepts insulation diameters from 0.056" to 0.110" (1.42mm to 2.79mm). Overall length is 0.734" (18.64mm) with an outer edge width of 0.218" (5.54mm).
Selection notes
The insulation restriction feature positions the sleeve over the wire jacket, not the conductor strands, to reduce pull-out risk. The 0.031" (0.79mm) contact thickness suits standard #6 stud terminals.
