PIDG ring terminal, 20 AWG, #10 stud
The 2-36153-8 is a PIDG-series insulated ring terminal from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, accepting 20 AWG wire and terminating to a #10 stud. The tin-plated copper contact is 0.031" (0.79mm) thick and the nylon insulation accepts wire insulation diameters from 0.056" to 0.110" (1.42mm to 2.79mm).
Insulated vs non-insulated selection
The 2-36153-8 is an insulated ring terminal; the PIDG series uses a nylon sleeve that provides insulation restriction. By contrast, the Solistrand-series 1377172-7 and 133521-1 are non-insulated terminals with brazed seam and serrated termination features, intended for applications where post-crimp insulation is not required.
