The surface-mount termination and built-in board guide simplify alignment during reflow assembly. Mated stacking heights range from 7mm up to 19mm, giving the board layout engineer flexibility to bridge different z-height gaps with a single plug part number.
Stack Height Range and Board Layout Fit
The plug supports four mated stacking heights — 7mm, 11mm, 15mm, and 19mm — depending on the mating receptacle height selected. That range covers most mezzanine card spacings in telecom line cards, server backplanes, and industrial controller stacks. For a given board-to-board gap, choose the receptacle with the complementary height to hit the target stack. The 0.80mm pitch keeps the footprint compact: 80 circuits in a two-row layout that fits a dense routing channel without forcing extra layers.
