Standard HDMI Type A Receptacle for PCB Mount
The TE Connectivity 2007435-1 is a 19-contact HDMI receptacle, the standard Type A interface used for uncompressed video and audio transmission in consumer electronics, monitors, projectors, and embedded systems. It carries the full 19-pin HDMI signal set — TMDS data lanes, clock, DDC, CEC, and hot-plug detect — in a single shielded connector body. Rated at 0.5A per contact and 40VAC, the 2007435-1 is a signal-level interface; the current per pin is sized for the differential pairs and control lines of the HDMI protocol, not for power delivery. The connector is shielded with a steel and stainless steel shell, which provides the EMI containment needed for high-speed digital video signals up to the HDMI 1.4 bandwidth. The shell also serves as the ground return path for the cable shield, a critical detail for signal integrity in longer cable runs.
Mounting and Board Retention
The mounting feature is vertical relative to the panel, meaning the connector body sits upright when the board is horizontal. For a connector that sees frequent mating cycles in consumer use, the board lock prevents the through-hole solder joints from cracking under the lever arm of a stiff HDMI cable.
It is not rated for automotive underhood or extended outdoor exposure without additional enclosure protection.
The TE Connectivity 2007435-1 is an active, in-production HDMI receptacle.
