Termination and Mating Compatibility
Termination is through a solder eyelet — the wire is tinned, inserted through the eyelet, and soldered. This is a permanent connection, not a field-replaceable crimp. Because it is a stamped pin, the contact geometry is consistent across the series, but the tin finish limits repeated mate/unmate cycles compared to gold-plated variants. For occasional service access it is fine; for frequent connector break-and-make, step up to a gold-flashed contact.
