CPC Back Shell Extender — Shell Size 23
The TE Connectivity 207055-1 is a back shell extender for the CPC (Circular Plastic Connector) series, shell size 23. It extends the cable exit length from the connector backshell, giving you room to dress the cable bundle and fit heat shrink or a secondary overmold before the strain relief. The housing is molded from black glass-filled thermoplastic — the glass fill keeps the part dimensionally stable under the clamp load of the cable gland and won't soften if the harness sees cabinet heat soak.
Shell Size Fit and Material
Shell size 23 is the physical envelope that mates with the corresponding CPC connector insert and coupling ring. If your harness assembly uses a size 23 CPC plug or receptacle, this extender threads onto the backshell threads of that connector.
