IP67-Sealed SlimSeal Header for Board-to-Cable Power
The housing is molded from Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with a black finish, and the brass pins carry a tin contact finish.
3.5 A or 5 A — Wire Gauge Decides the Current Limit
The current rating is not a single number: it is 3.5 A per circuit when terminated with 22-24 AWG wire, and 5 A per circuit with 18-20 AWG wire. If your BOM calls for the full 5 A, confirm the wire gauge in the harness matches the larger size — the smaller wire will bottleneck the current before the connector does. The 30 mating cycles rating means this header is intended for a limited number of mate/unmate events over its service life — think factory-assembled harnesses or field-replaceable modules, not a daily-disconnect panel interface. Tin plating on the contacts is adequate for this cycle count; gold would be specified for higher reconnect duty.
SMT Right-Angle Footprint for Board-Edge Mounting
The solder retention features hold the part during reflow without secondary operations.
