Sealed 4-Position Header for Wire-to-Board Power
The 2106112-6: The 0.138" (3.50mm) pitch gives enough spacing for the 400V rating without forcing a wide board footprint. The housing is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a latch lock fastening system, and the contacts are tin-plated brass. The IP67 rating means the mated pair is dust-tight and protected against temporary water immersion — suited for outdoor lighting, HVAC, or appliance harnesses that see condensation or washdown.
Current Rating Depends on the Wire You Use
The current rating is split by wire gauge: 3.5A with 22-24 AWG, and 5A with 18-20 AWG. The contact itself can handle 5A, but the thinner wire limits the current before the contact does. For a 5A circuit, spec 18 or 20 AWG wire with the matching SlimSeal crimp terminal. The 30 mating cycles rating fits a sealed-environment duty — enough for the initial assembly and a few service disconnects, but not for daily reconnection. The tin plating is fine for this cycle count; gold would be overkill for a sealed, low-cycle joint.
IP67 Sealing and Latch Lock
The IP67 ingress protection is the defining feature of this header — the mated connector pair seals against dust and temporary water immersion.
