It accepts female blade sockets (power contacts only, per the 2 Power contact layout) and terminates via press-fit — a solderless, rework-friendly connection that suits high-reliability backplane assemblies. The right-angle through-hole mounting orients the mating interface parallel to the board, which is typical for power input modules or busbar interconnects where board-edge routing is needed. Contact finish is gold or gold-palladium — a high-cycle plating grade that resists fretting corrosion in field-serviceable assemblies. The single-row, 2-position layout keeps the footprint compact: this is a dedicated power interconnect, not a signal or mixed-layout connector.
Press-Fit Termination and Board Layout
