ZQSFP+ Ganged Cage Receptacle — 152 Positions, Press-Fit
This is the four-port version of the ZQSFP+ family, designed for high-density 100 GbE and 200 GbE line cards where four QSFP28 modules stack side-by-side on a single footprint. Press-fit termination means the connector presses into plated through-holes on the backplane or midplane — no solder wicking, no reflow profile to manage, just a controlled insertion force.
Built-In EMI Shielding and Light Pipe
The cage integrates EMI shielding directly into the stamped metal shell — no separate gasket or clip to add during assembly. The light pipe is also integrated into the cage.
The gold layer resists corrosion on the contact wipe zone, which is critical when the connector sits unmated for months then sees a module insertion. Tin-plated contacts would fret under the vibration of server fans at that cycle count; the gold here avoids that failure mode.
