Mag-Mate post for 27-31 AWG magnet wire
The 2238062-1 is a Size 1, Style 187 Mag-Mate terminal from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, designed for 27-31 AWG magnetic wire. It uses a Box IDC termination that pierces the wire insulation on insertion, and terminates to a PCB post.
Wire range and termination method
The Box IDC contact accepts 27-31 AWG magnet wire — the insulation displacement slot cuts through the enamel coating and makes contact with the conductor in one stroke. The PCB post end is soldered into a plated through-hole on the board.
