RF Signal Path Connector
The 227699-2: It mates with standard BNC plugs via a bayonet lock, delivering a quick-connect interface rated for 500 mating cycles. The through-hole solder termination anchors the centre contact and shield in one pass on the board. The 50 Ohm impedance is held through the interface geometry and the dielectric material — polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and polyester — keeping the signal path consistent up to 4 GHz. The gold-plated phosphor bronze centre contact resists corrosion over repeated mates, and the nickel-finished zinc body provides the shield continuity.
Through-hole mounting with the shield termination soldered directly to the board ground plane — no separate ground strap needed. The single-port body fits a standard panel cutout for BNC connectors, and the bayonet lock engages with a quarter-turn.
