The TE Connectivity 2301994-3 is a single-port RJ45 jack, right-angle through-hole mount, built for 10/100 Base-T Ethernet with AutoMDIX support. The shielded brass housing carries EMI finger contacts that ground the shell to the board before the signal pins mate — a detail that matters for passing radiated emissions in industrial and telecom equipment enclosures. The four internal cores per jack handle the four differential pairs required by 10/100 Base-T; the connector is not rated for 1000 Base-T, so if your BOM calls for Gigabit, this is not the jack to populate.
