The TE Connectivity 2317222-2 is a 2-position, single-row IDC receptacle in the AMPMODU 2mm series. The closed-end design blocks debris ingress at the back of the connector, which matters when this receptacle sits inside a control cabinet or junction box where dust settles.
Pitch, wire range, and what fits
The 0.079" (2.00 mm) pitch is the critical board-fit dimension — the mating header must have the same centreline spacing. Accepts 26-30 AWG wire, which covers the gauge range of most signal-level harnesses and sensor cables. The tin contact finish (50.0 µin / 1.27 µm) is standard for limited mating-cycle applications; if this receptacle is going into a harness that gets disconnected more than a few times, gold-plated contacts in the same series would give better fretting resistance. But for a permanent or semi-permanent install, tin is fine.
