Wire and Termination — What Fits
This receptacle accepts both discrete wire and ribbon cable in the 26-30 AWG range. The IDC termination requires a standard hand or pneumatic press — no special tooling beyond what any AMPMODU 2mm IDC line already uses. The free-hanging (in-line) mount means it terminates at the cable end and mates with a board-mounted header; there are no board locks or solder tails. The single-row layout keeps the cable exit compact.
The 2317222-6 mates with any AMPMODU 2.00 mm pitch header of the same 6-position count and single-row layout. The closed-end housing provides polarization — the header shroud aligns the receptacle, preventing reverse insertion.
It is ROHS3 compliant.
