Sliver Plug for Edge-Card Interconnects
The TE Connectivity 2317815-1 is a 50-position Sliver plug designed for free-hanging (in-line) termination to a standard 0.062 inch thick edge card. The housing is black polyamide with an integral thumb latch for tool-less mating and retention. This plug is the cable-side half of the Sliver interconnect system, intended for high-density signal applications where a compact, free-hanging connector mates directly to a PCB edge card. The 0.60 mm pitch packs 50 positions into a narrow envelope, suited for internal cabling in servers, switches, and storage equipment.

You must order the matching Sliver crimp terminals separately.
This plug mates with a Sliver receptacle that accepts the same 0.062 inch edge card. The thumb latch provides positive retention without tools. Termination is crimp-style via the separately ordered contacts; the free-hanging design allows the cable assembly to be built and tested before mating to the card.
