The 2318582-2 is a 2-position Plug, Blade Sockets from the TE WireMate, Buchanan series, designed for panel-mount, snap-in installation with a 180° wire entry. Its 0.315" (8.00mm) pitch and 250 V UL rating make it a fit for industrial control cabinets and power distribution blocks where space is tight but voltage isolation matters. The lever actuated, screwless termination accepts 18-24 AWG wire with a 10mm strip length — no screwdriver needed, which speeds up field wiring on a panel line.
ROHS3 compliant, with a UL94 V-0 rated PBT housing. The contact mating finish is tin, suitable for moderate mating cycle duty.
The snap-in panel mount holds it in place without additional hardware. Screwless termination: strip 10mm of insulation, insert the wire into the lever-actuated clamp, and close the lever. No crimp tool required for the wire side.
