Panel-mount plug for tool-less wiring
The 2318582-3: This is a 3-position plug from TE's WireMate / Buchanan series, designed as a panel-mount snap-in plug with blade sockets. The 8.00 mm pitch gives generous clearance for the 250 V UL rating, and the lever-actuated screwless termination lets you land 18-24 AWG wire without a screwdriver — just strip to 10 mm, insert, and close the lever.
Wire entry is 180° straight into the plug, and the termination style is screwless — no torque specs to chase. Accepts 18-24 AWG solid or stranded (0.2-0.82 mm²) with a 10 mm strip length. The contacts are copper alloy with tin mating finish, suitable for moderate cycle counts in controlled environments. Housing is glass-filled PBT rated UL94 V-0, natural color.
