Screwless lever-actuated plug for panel wiring
TE Connectivity 2319461-7 is a 7-position, single-level plug from the WireMate and Buchanan series. It uses a screwless lever-actuated clamp to terminate 18-24 AWG wire — no screwdriver needed, which cuts wiring time on a panel or harness board. The plug mates with a matching header or socket (same series, same 5.00mm pitch) and snaps into a panel cutout for a tool-free mount. Rated 250 V UL, it handles typical 24 VDC control circuits and 120/240 VAC sensor power.
Wire termination and strip length
The screwless clamp accepts solid or stranded wire from 18 AWG down to 24 AWG. Strip exactly 10mm of insulation — the lever opens the clamp, the wire seats fully, and the lever closes to lock the conductor without a torque spec. Contact mating finish is tin, rated for standard industrial environments.
