3-Position Screwless Plug for 5.00mm Terminal Blocks
The 2350397-3 is a 3-position plug with female sockets, part of the TE Buchanan TB series, designed for 0.197" (5.00mm) pitch terminal block headers. It uses a screwless push-in spring termination — strip the wire 12-13mm, push it in, and the leg spring clamps it without a tool. Rated 16 A at 300 V UL, the plug accepts 12-26 AWG (0.13-3.31mm²) solid or stranded wire.
Push-Button Release and Retention Latches
Push button actuation on the plug releases the spring clamp for wire removal — no screwdriver needed. Retention latches on the non-wire side lock the plug into the mating header, preventing accidental disconnection under vibration. The 180° wire entry (straight in-line) suits daisy-chain wiring in control cabinets and junction boxes where space above the terminal block is limited.
