3-position push-in plug for 16-24 AWG
The 2350398-3 is a 3-position plug from TE's Buchanan series, using female socket contacts. It accepts 16-24 AWG wire with a strip length of 9-10mm, terminated via a screwless leg-spring, push-in spring clamp — no screwdriver needed for the wire, just push to insert. The push button actuator releases the wire for rework. Rated 8 A at 150 V (UL), this plug suits low-to-moderate power signal and control circuits in industrial panels, lighting, and building automation.
Wire entry and mounting flexibility
The plug has a 180° wire entry — cables exit straight out the back, parallel to the conductor axis — which simplifies routing in shallow enclosures or along cable trays. It's a free-hanging (in-line) plug, so it mates with a fixed header on the PCB or panel without requiring its own mounting hardware. The single-level design (1 level, 3 positions per level) keeps the assembly low-profile: insulation height is 0.303" (7.70mm) above the mating face.
