7-Position Termi-Blok SMT Terminal Block
The 5.00 mm pitch provides a standard footprint for industrial control and power distribution boards, with enough spacing to handle the 300 V rating without tracking issues between adjacent circuits. The screw rising cage clamp accepts wire from 16 AWG down to 30 AWG, making it suitable for both power feeds and signal-level field wiring in the same block. The M3 screw with a specified torque range of 0.5-0.6 Nm (4.4-5.3 Lb-In) gives a repeatable clamp force on the conductor without crushing fine-stranded wire. The horizontal mating orientation — wires enter parallel to the board surface — keeps the assembly profile low for shallow enclosures.
Wire Termination and Contact System
Termination uses a screw-driven rising cage clamp: turning the M3 screw lifts a nickel-plated copper alloy clamp plate against the conductor, securing it without damaging the wire strands. The screw itself is copper alloy with nickel plating, giving a consistent thread engagement over multiple terminations. The 16-30 AWG wire range covers solid and stranded conductors. For a 16 AWG power feed, the rising cage clamp pulls the full strand bundle into the cage without splaying; for a 30 AWG signal wire, the clamp compresses evenly without cutting into the fine strands. The 0.5-0.6 Nm torque spec should be followed with a calibrated driver for consistent contact resistance across all positions.
SMT Mounting and Board Layout
The surface-mount termination places the block directly onto PCB pads, eliminating through-hole soldering and reducing board-side assembly steps.
