This plug terminates to RG-405 (.085" semi-rigid) cable with a solder attachment on both the centre contact and the shield. The free-hanging, in-line mounting style means it is not board-mounted — it lands on the cable end and mates to a board-mounted SMP receptacle. The snap-on fastening gives positive retention without threads, and the 175 V voltage rating covers typical RF signal levels well below the connector's breakdown limit.
