0.187" tab receptacle for 15-20 AWG
The 280919-2 is the 0.187" (4.75mm) tab width female receptacle in TE's Fastin-Faston quick disconnect terminal line, accepting 15-20 AWG wire with a crimp termination. The brass contact carries a tin finish and mates with a 0.032" (0.81mm) thick tab; the non-insulated barrel accepts an insulation diameter of 0.091" to 0.130" (2.31mm to 3.30mm).
Tab width and wire gauge range
At 0.187" (4.75mm) tab width, the 280919-2 is narrower than the 0.250" (6.35mm) tab of the Utilux 1-1627194-4, which also accepts 15-18 AWG wire with the same 0.032" (0.81mm) tab thickness and tin finish. The 0.248" (6.30mm) Utilux 1-1659250-0 likewise targets 17-20 AWG but uses a slightly thinner 0.031" (0.79mm) tab — the 280919-2's tab thickness is a direct match for standard 0.032" mating tabs.
