2-Position IDC Plug for Discrete Wire Harnesses
The TE Connectivity 281783-2 is a 2-position IDC plug in the HE13/HE14 series, terminated to discrete 24-26 AWG wire with an insulation displacement contact. The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch matches the standard.025" square pin header footprint — a common spacing for signal-level interconnects on control boards and I/O panels. Tin-plated female sockets and a detent lock give this plug a solid, vibration-resistant mate for applications where the harness sees occasional movement, not constant flexing.
