5.08mm Pitch, Right-Angle, 4-Position Header
The 282814-4 is a 4-position, single-level, right-angle shrouded header from the TE Buchanan series. The 0.200" (5.08mm) pitch matches the standard terminal block footprint — this is the dimension you check against your PCB layout and the mating plug. The shrouded housing protects the pins from accidental shorting and guides the plug into alignment during mating.
The 15 A per contact rating at 300 V is typical for a 5.08mm-pitch terminal block header in industrial control panels, PLC I/O racks, and power distribution blocks. The tin mating finish keeps contact resistance stable at these current levels — gold is not needed here because the connector is not designed for frequent disconnect cycles. The UL94 V-0 polyamide housing and -40°C to 110°C operating range cover the thermal environment inside a ventilated cabinet or junction box.
