7-Position Side-Entry PCB Terminal Block, 5.08 mm Pitch
It uses a side-entry screw-rising cage clamp termination, accepting 12-30 AWG wire. The 0.200" (5.08mm) pitch and through-hole mounting suit it for power distribution and control wiring on a PCB, where the 17.5 A per-circuit rating and 300 V voltage class handle motor drives, power supplies, and industrial I/O blocks. The green polyamide (PA66) housing provides the flame rating needed for equipment inside an enclosure.
For a 7-position block, the total current through the block is the sum of the loaded circuits — the 17.5 A limit applies per position, not as a block total. The M3 screw torque spec of 0.79 Nm (7.0 Lb-In) ensures the rising cage clamp grips the wire without damaging the conductor.
Side Interlocking for Multi-Position Ganging
The interlocking (side) feature allows multiple 282841-7 blocks to be mechanically joined side-by-side, creating a wider terminal strip without additional brackets. The interlocking is a mechanical key — no electrical connection is made between blocks; each block remains a separate 7-circuit group.
