Panel Wiring Terminal Selection
The TE Connectivity Buchanan 282843-4 is a 4-position PCB-mount terminal block on a 0.400" (10.16mm) pitch, designed for industrial control and power distribution boards. The wide pitch gives you room to land 12 AWG wire without crowding adjacent terminals, and the 600 V / 17.5 A rating handles panel-level power feeds. The rising cage clamp termination — screw-driven, brass with nickel plating — pulls the wire into the clamp body rather than pinching it under the screw head, so stranded conductors don't cold-flow or break strands. The housing is green polyamide 6/6, rated for the operating environment inside an enclosure.

Wire range is 12-30 AWG. The screw torque spec is 0.79 Nm (7.0 Lb-In) for the M3 screw.
