The TE Connectivity 2834006-3 is a 3-position, surface-mount, right-angle poke-in wire receptacle on a 0.157" (4.00 mm) pitch. It accepts stripped solid or stranded wire from 18 AWG down to 22 AWG — no crimp terminal needed, just strip, insert, and the internal contact beam grabs the conductor.
At 0.157" (4.00 mm) pitch, the three positions span just 0.314" (8.00 mm) from center of pin 1 to center of pin 3 — a compact footprint for a 3-circuit power tap.
Poke-in termination means the assembler strips the wire to the recommended length and pushes it into the slot — the contact spring holds it without solder or a crimp barrel. The 18 AWG to 22 AWG range covers common power and signal wire sizes; 18 AWG carries the full 6A rating, while 22 AWG is better suited to the 5A end of the range. The wire insertion force is moderate; a small screwdriver can depress the release slot if the wire needs to be pulled back out.
