What This 2-Position Terminal Block Does
The 0.197" (5.00mm) pitch gives you a standard footprint for a 2-circuit power or signal termination point on the board.
Sizing the Wire and the Board Layout
The 5.00 mm pitch is the dimension that locks your PCB drill pattern — each position sits 5.00 mm from the next, so a 2-position block needs 10 mm of centre-to-centre spacing plus clearance on each side. The 45° (135°) angle with the board means the wire exits at a diagonal, which clears low-profile enclosures where a straight vertical or right-angle block would hit the lid. Wire range covers 14-28 AWG, so it handles a 2.5 mm² power feed down to a 0.08 mm² signal wire.
Current Capacity and Termination
The spring-cage clamp holds the wire without a screw, so you get consistent contact force on solid or stranded conductors and no screw-torque variation. The interlocking side feature lets you gang multiple blocks side-by-side on the same rail or board edge without gaps.
