Poke-In Wire Receptacle for Board-to-Cable Power
The 2834334-2: It uses a poke-in wire termination — strip the 18-24 AWG wire, insert it directly into the contact, and the internal spring holds it. No separate crimp terminal or tooling needed, which cuts assembly time and BOM line count for low-to-moderate current runs. The 0.157" (4.00mm) pitch gives enough spacing for the 320V rating without forcing a wide board footprint.
Board Cutout and SMT Mounting
This receptacle mounts through a board cutout with surface-mount solder tails. The SMT pads reflow alongside other board-level components, and the cutout provides mechanical alignment and strain relief for the inserted wire. The white housing makes visual inspection of the wire insertion depth straightforward on the assembly line.
