5-position, 5.08 mm pitch terminal block plug
The 284041-5 is a 5-position plug from the TE Buchanan series, using a 0.200" (5.08mm) pitch — the standard spacing for moderate-density power and signal terminal blocks. The rising cage clamp termination accepts 12-30 AWG (0.05-3 mm²) solid or stranded wire, with a strip length of 6-7.5 mm.
The M3 screw requires 0.79 Nm (7.0 Lb-In) torque — enough to clamp the conductor without stripping the polyamide housing. Retention latches on the non-wire side lock the plug into the mating header, preventing vibration-induced disconnection.
RoHS3 compliant and rated UL94 V-0 for the housing material.
