8-Position PCB Terminal Block with Rising Cage Clamp
It uses a screw-actuated rising cage clamp termination — the clamp lifts against the conductor as the M3 screw is torqued, gripping the wire against the current bar. The green polyamide housing is a visual identifier common in the series.
The rising cage clamp accepts solid or stranded wire from 16 AWG down to 30 AWG. The M3 screw has a recommended torque of 0.68 Nm (6 Lb-In) — overtightening can strip the brass threads or deform the conductor. The clamp and screw are both brass with nickel plating; the contact bar is brass with tin plating. The side interlocking feature lets you snap multiple blocks together to build a wider terminal strip on the same pitch.
Through-hole mounting with a vertical wire entry — the wires enter perpendicular to the PCB surface. The single-level design keeps the height above the board low, suitable for enclosures with limited clearance above the PCB.
