3-Position PCB Terminal Block, 0.150" Pitch, Rising Cage Clamp
The TE Connectivity 284415-3 is a 3-position Buchanan PCB terminal block with a 0.150" (3.81mm) pitch. It terminates solid or stranded wire from 12 to 30 AWG via a screw-driven rising cage clamp — the M3 screw at 0.25 Nm lifts the clamp to trap the conductor against the bus bar. The single-level, vertical-with-board orientation suits DIN-rail-mount or panel-mount applications where the wire enters from above the PCB.
The 12 A per-position rating applies with the correct wire gauge (12 AWG minimum) and the specified screw torque of 0.25 Nm. Undersized wire or under-torqued screws raise contact resistance and temperature rise. The 300 V voltage rating is the UL/CSA working voltage between adjacent positions and to ground, limited by the 3.81mm pitch and the PA66 housing creepage distance. The nickel-plated brass clamp and screw resist corrosion in industrial cabinet environments.
