Buchanan 3.5mm Header for Wire-to-Board
The 284514-6 is a 6-position, single-level header from TE's Buchanan series, pitched at 0.138" (3.50mm). This is the mating half for Buchanan 3.5mm plug connectors used in terminal block systems.
This header mates with Buchanan 3.5mm plug connectors (e.g., 284515 series) that accept 16-24 AWG wire via screw clamp. The shrouded 4-side design protects pins during handling and prevents mis-mating. Solder termination to PCB — through-hole for mechanical strength.
