6-Position, 3.81mm Pitch Vertical Header
The 284519-6 is a 6-position, single-level shrouded header from TE's Buchanan series, designed for wire-to-board terminal block applications. Vertical through-hole orientation with solder termination keeps the assembly low-profile on the board, suited for control panels and PLC I/O modules where the header mates with a plug or receptacle from above.
The PA66 housing retains dimensional stability across the range.
RoHS compliant per directive 2011/65/EU.
The shrouded header accepts a mating plug or receptacle with a 3.81mm pitch and matching keying. The integrated mating flange provides a positive lock when paired with the corresponding connector, preventing disconnection under vibration typical in industrial relay panels or motor control cabinets. Insulation height of 0.362" (9.20mm) and contact tail length of 0.134" (3.40mm) define the board clearance and solder joint geometry.
