The 0.375" (9.53 mm) pitch gives each terminal enough physical spacing to handle the 25 A rating without excessive heat buildup between adjacent circuits, making this a power distribution block rather than a signal-level terminal. The three-wall barrier design isolates each position from its neighbors, reducing the chance of a stray strand bridging two circuits during wiring. Wire acceptance from 12 AWG down to 22 AWG covers both the heavy feed conductors and the smaller branch-circuit wiring typical in panel builds.
