31-Position FPC Connector with Slide-Lock ZIF
This is a key dimension for enclosures with limited z-height, such as handheld terminals or panel-mounted displays. The solder retention feature adds mechanical hold during reflow and subsequent cable strain — the connector body stays anchored to the board even when the FPC is tugged during routing or maintenance. The FPC thickness is specified at 0.30 mm, which is the standard for most 0.50 mm pitch FPCs. Using a thicker or thinner cable may compromise the ZIF contact beam pressure or the slide lock engagement.
Current and Signal Duty
The 250 V voltage rating is typical for signal interconnects in low-voltage equipment. In a typical LCD or sensor interface, the per-contact current draw is well below 0.5 A, so the connector operates within its thermal margin.
