Housing material and environmental fit
The 3-180916-0 is a single-position male tab housing in TE's Fastin-Faston series, moulded from natural polyamide (PA6) for free-hanging in-line installation. It accepts 0.250" (6.35mm) quick-connect terminals and is rated ROHS3 compliant; contacts are ordered separately.
Mating and terminal selection
This housing mates with 0.250" (6.35mm) quick-connect male tabs — the same tab size used across the Fastin-Faston line. The natural PA6 colour distinguishes it from the black 180916-5 housing; the PA66 material of the 2-180916-0 and 180916 siblings offers a higher continuous-use temperature ceiling than the PA6 of the 3-180916-0.
