Single-Position IDC Termination for 24 AWG Wire
It's the kind of part you spec when you need one wire landed at a board edge — a point-to-point termination without a multi-circuit header. The closed-end design means the wire stops at a defined depth inside the IDC slot, so the stripped length isn't critical; the insulation is displaced by the slot's tines as you push the wire home. Tin contact finish keeps it cost-effective for internal, non-corrosive environments where mating cycle count stays low.
Right-Angle Mount for Board-Edge Routing
Through-hole solder tails give a solid mechanical anchor — no risk of the IDC joint lifting under wire strain the way an SMT pad might. The single row keeps the footprint narrow: one hole for the solder tail, one for the wire slot, no wasted board area.
It's also ROHS3 compliant, so it clears EU and most global material restrictions without an exemption.
