What This Connector Does in the Harness
It mates with standard MTA-100 male pin headers, using the 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch that defines the series footprint. The green housing and closed-end feature provide visual and mechanical polarization, so you can't mis-mate it on the header.
4 positions at 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch — match the position count to your BOM line and the pitch to the mating header. The IDC termination accepts only 28 AWG wire (discrete or ribbon), so verify your wire gauge before committing. Tin-plated contacts with 80.0µin (2.03µm) thickness handle moderate mating cycles in dry, indoor environments; for high-cycle or corrosive duty, the gold-plated MTA-100 variants are the better call. Free-hanging (in-line) or right-angle mounting covers most cable routing needs. The closed end blocks the last cavity, so you can't accidentally insert a pin there — handy when you're populating less than 4 circuits.
