3-Position IDC Receptacle for Discrete or Ribbon Cable
The TE Connectivity MTA-100 3-641190-3 is a 3-position IDC receptacle designed for 22 AWG discrete or ribbon cable. It uses a 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch, matching the standard MTA-100 header footprint. The closed-end housing prevents the wire from pushing past the IDC slot, so each conductor seats fully in its contact tine on the first press. A locking ramp on the housing secures the mate with the matching header, giving a positive hold in moderate-vibration environments like appliance or HVAC control panels.
