8-position IDC receptacle for MTA-100 harnesses
The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch matches the standard MTA-100 header footprint — no pitch mismatch when you drop this onto a 0.100" header.
Closed-end housing and wire gauge
This is a closed-end receptacle — the back of the housing is sealed, so wire cannot push through past the last position. It accepts 26 AWG discrete or ribbon cable. The IDC termination displaces the insulation during assembly, which means no wire stripping or crimping tool for the contact itself; you do need the MTA-100 hand tool or press to push the cable into the slot. The blue colour is a visual key for the 8-position variant in a multi-harness panel.
Mounting and mating orientation
Mates with the standard MTA-100 pin header (straight or right-angle, 0.100" pitch, 8 positions). No separate hardware needed.
